I love these cheap collections of previously released music! This one has the advantage of giving you, in addition to Holst's most popular work, what appears to be his second most popular (or at least second most frequently recorded), the folksy ST. PAUL'S SUITE for string orchestra, before returning to PLANETary moods and timbres in the ballet for THE PERFECT FOOL.(In this last, spirits of the earth, water, and fire dance-- not air, as it says once in the liner notes.)
